It is commonly known as Alisanders, Horse Parsley and Smyrnium. The plant can grow to 1-1.5 m tall, bearing yellow-green flowers and black fruits. It has the appearance and taste to that of celery. It was once used as a medicinal herb, and in many dishes, but this has been replaced by celery. |
