Ophiopogon

Ophiopogon is a genus of herbaceous perennial plants in family Ruscaceae, comprising 65 species. Native to warm temperate to tropical east, southeast, and south Asia.

These grass-like plants have small white or purple bell-shaped flowers, but they are grown mostly for their attractive foliage.

Plant Ophiopogon in full sun, moisture-retentive but well-drained, acid soil. Take care of pests like slugs and snails.
